Sorauren Park Pumpkin Parade 2008
For at least the past couple of years people have been bringing their jack-o-lanterns (we brought ours as well) to Sorauren Park in the west end of Toronto the day after Halloween. There were thousands on display this year, ringing the pathway around the park. The following day they are picked up by Toronto Waste Management and composted.

An impressive haunted house jack-o-lantern.
I like the juxtaposition of these two.
Stephen Harper as the devil rendered as a jack-o-lantern. Done by a graphic artist I know who lives close to the park.
Another collection of jack-o-lanterns. There were easily a thousand, perhaps 1,500 or more jack-o-lanterns ringing the path around the park.
Cookie monster or Elmo?
